The verdict on Vasque’s Inhaler GTX hiking boots is clear: they’re winners.
The 2015 Spring season is underway, and with the increased activity among America’s hiking trails and campgrounds, Vasque has released their new Inhaler GTX collection, consisting of some fantastically lightweight, breathable performance hikers.
Wide Open Spaces got their hands, er, feet, on a pair of the Inhaler Low GTX, and the industry-best traction of Vasque’s exclusive Vibram® Pneumatic sole was the first noticeable benefit. An outsole made of a Megagrip rubber compound provides the surest step we’ve felt in a hiking shoe to date.
The large 3D mesh panels on the upper prevent the sort of sagging and pinching that’s common in other hiking boots, and the now-infamous GORE-TEX® material helps keep it waterproof and breathable at the same time.

The Inhaler answers many of the requests heard from hikers, especially when it comes to weight without sacrificing durability. These boots feel like they can withstand years of abuse, and that’s exactly what today’s modern hiker needs.
Vasque’s movement to find out what’s within took a big step forward with the release of the Inhaler collection, which will help wearers write the next chapters of the great American outdoor adventure.
