This Iowa non-typical buck is projected to shatter previous state record by over 10 inches.
Iowa has been known as the ‘Land of Giants’ for a long time, but this year has been extra special for the Hawkeye State.
Earlier in the season, an incredible typical buck was shot that was rumored to break the half century old archery typical record (we are still waiting on the official score).
Now a few weeks later, it’s rumored a new Iowa state record has been broken by Deric Seicks. The buck was shot in Fayette County and tallies up an incredible 305″ Green score.
After the mandatory drying period, pending the buck doesn’t shrink, the deer will break the previous record by double digits.
The buck has been deemed the name “Kornhill Buck” because it was a nearby road to where the buck was shot in Fayette County. Take a look to where the buck might have been taken.
As we wait for the details and official score of this buck, we would like to congratulate Deric for his buck of many lifetimes!
