A hungry predator left a Spokane Valley neighbor worried after he finds large deer carcass on his property.
What would you do if you found a large deer half eaten on your property? This Spokane Valley man was worried as a deer this large could only be taken by a larger, hungry predator.
He did not see the predator, but judging by how the deer was left, bite marks around the neck, and by the size of the deer, he believes it to be a cougar.
Only a short distance from a road used by joggers and children going to school, this find does lead to worry. If a cougar is hunting in this area, people using this road can be in danger of a cougar attack.
Cougars have been known to attack full grown humans and jogging, much like running, can easily trigger a predator’s attack. And children are at even higher risk.
