Eric Clapton made waves in the outdoors world recently, but Peyton Manning can catch fish too!
By now, you have undoubtedly seen the giant salmon that Eric Clapton caught on a recent trip to Iceland. That thing made it around online fishing circles like a tarpon chasing baitfish!
You have to admit that seeing a rocker of legendary status hauling in a giant fish is pretty cool. On that note, how about the recent salmon Peyton Manning just landed while fishing with pop country star Dierks Bentley? It’s a pretty good one as well.
There’s not many details about this fish other than what Bentley posted on his Facebook page where the photo was first seen. Below is exactly how he captioned the picture.
nice king for peyton manning. mine was way way way bigger but i….can’t find the pic.
Only going by the obvious, the name on Manning’s hat and shirt, as well as on the guide in the background, all point to Komaham Lodge in British Columbia. A quick Google search reveals that this lodge is a fairly private fishing getaway that specializes in king salmon.
Now that Manning has retired from football, it’s pretty clear to see what exactly he now does on Sunday mornings.
