Pennsylvania’s Muddy Run Deer Count Shown in Awesome GoPro Footage

A strategically placed GoPro camera captures some awesome in-your-face whitetail deer action. Let the counting games begin!

The annual deer count was conducted January 17 at the Muddy Run Recreation Park in Southern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. As a means to tally herd size, more than 100 volunteers walk sections of the 800 acre fenced-in park, counting any deer they crossed paths with.

The influx of human walkers can get the deer running, and lucky for us, a strategically placed GoPro camera was set up to capture all of the action.

The tally for this years count was 287 deer. This clip perfectly illustrates how quick and sure-footed whitetail deer truly are.

GoPro cameras offer astounding glimpses into the lives of the wildlife we love. We’re already looking forward to the footage that the 2017 Muddy Run deer count might produce!
