Pennsylvania Hunters Come to Rescue of Deer Trapped in Snare

Facing certain strangulation, or worse still, being eaten alive by the snares’ intended target, this lucky deer gets a new lease on life thanks to these hero hunters.

A day of rabbit hunting turned into an impromptu rescue mission when the Pennsylvania hunting crew from Living4theoutdoors spotted a deer in distress.

A snare, set to trap coyote, had inadvertently captured an unlucky doe around the neck. If left, strangulation or death by yote predation would have led to this deer’s demise.

A rescue of this type can come with risks, as a swift kick from a deer’s powerful legs can cause some serious damage. Having never rescued a deer trapped in a snare previously, this crew certainly looked at ease getting the job done.

Consider this proof once again that hunters are the most caring and conservation-minded folk out there.
