Sneak a peek at this Penetrator Crossbow, perhaps the most perfectly-named crossbow ever.
Fire a bolt at 350 fps. Silently. Optional red-dot sight. Walking Dead’s Darrel ain’t got nothin on this.

Barnett is a tried and true archery company with an illustrious history of producing high-quality stringed instruments of death, but this one takes the cake.
With a 175-pound draw (optional crank attachment available), and a 12-inch powerstroke, the Penetrator tops out at 350 fps.
Now, 350 fps may seem fast if you know something about crossbows, but slow if you know something about guns, but here’s the kicker:
A .22 round weighs around 30 grains and travels at around 1200 fps, resulting in an impact energy of 177 Joules.
A 20′ headhunter weights around 400 grains and travels at 350 fps, resulting in an impact energy of 148 Joules.
So the Penetrator hits with around 84% of a .22 rifle’s stopping power.
84%. And it’s silent.
Pretty cool right? Did we mention the optional red-dot site? There’s an optional red-dot site.
But overall, if you want a crossbow that’s pretty capable of shooting a deer through another deer (maybe, at least), you may want to consider investing.
