Real-life “Snakes on a Plane” plays out on Aeromexico flight.
We know it’s a cliché, but this isn’t a Samuel L. Jackson movie, this is real life. Passengers on an Aeromexico flight got quite the surprise when a five-foot long snake dropped down from the overhead baggage areas during a flight to Mexico City from Torreon.
The serpent’s unexpected appearance caused an emergency landing so that animal control could take care of the situation. Check out the passenger video:

As of now, it’s unclear exactly how the snake got onto the plane, and the airline is currently investigating the incident.
‘The procedures carried out for this flight are currently being evaluated to determine how the animal entered the cabin and measures have been taken to avoid such incidents in the future,” the airline told the Daily Mail.
It’s also unclear from the video and photos if the snake was actually venomous or not. But it probably wouldn’t have mattered much either way. People just don’t like snakes, especially on an airplane!
No word from the airline, but I’m sure at least one person shouted Samuel L. Jackson’s famous line before that plane landed.
