What you’re about to see is a long way from a two-sided stone arrowhead.
Seems like everyday there’s a new broadhead hitting the shelf at the local hunting shop. Whether you like to shoot a mechanical or a fixed blade, chances are that you’re shooting something with two or three blades.
It wasn’t until recently that four-bladed broadheads started to make an appearance. Some might call it overkill, others might say that it has more knockdown power and I say this thing is exactly what the name implies, a beast.
Check out The BEAST broadhead from Velocity Archery in this clip below and make your own judgements.
Depending on your own specific hunting conditions, The Beast may or may not be your cup of tea, though its impressive eight inches of broadhead blades are sure hard to not stare at.
Also, always refer to state and local laws when choosing a broadhead, as many states have restrictions on what is allowed for hunting.
