This video shows the firefighters hard at work attacking the roaring flames.

This brush fire erupted in New Zealand  in 2014 next to the Otago Pistol Club’s shooting ranges.

The fire was contained using two helicopters using monsoon water buckets. A large crowd turned out to watch the action. The old rubber tires used for the range backstop helped to keep the fire going and the dark smoke rolling.

The fire itself is not being blamed on gun shooting, as there possibly may have been fireworks set off by teenagers adjacent to the gun range.
