Only In Alaska Polar Bears Feast On Whale Carcass Just Feet From Locals

These polar bears couldn’t care less about the large group of people gathered to watch them feast upon a massive whale carcass in Alaska.

There is nothing like a whale carcass to attract large numbers of polar bears who are hungry for a quick and easy meal. When there are that many polar bears gathered together, it is also nearly guaranteed to bring a crowd of onlookers together to watch the spectacle.

Check out the video to see just how many bears were gathered together on Alaska’s North Slope for that whale smorgasbord!

Only in Alaska right?

Those people are far braver than me. As cool as that must have been to see, those people were probably way too close. Even though they seemed pretty focused on eating the dead whale, I’d still be worried about one of those polar bears deciding it wanted to spice up its diet by adding a person to it.
