The One Stretch of Water in Montana That Unveils All the Beauty of a Wild Western River

The Smith River in Montana provides great fishing and hunting adventure to this crew but it also a story of conservation.

Check as these guys float the Smith River and hunt for bears in some of the best wild country in the U.S. There is a reason Montana is called “the last best place”.

Being able to do float trip, catch some amazing trout and also get in some bear hunting is the epitome of a spring adventure. But it isn’t all a good news story with this pristine area under threat from potential mining operations.

While a robust economy and creating good jobs is critically important, it has to be balanced with sound conservation principles. Lucky for us there are voices willing to speak their mind and ensure our collective natural areas that allow fishing and hunting access are protected.
