You can practice shooting more often, use a high capacity magazine, or have a wild boar crawl inside your pants with you. Your choice!
This rifle hunter is in the right place at the right time, but unfortunately he has the same disease that we all have from time to time: can’t hit the broad side of a barn with a loaded firearm.
Watch as this resourceful boar hunter holds off the animal long enough to reload and finish the job.
That’s obviously a semi-automatic rifle, so maybe he just needed a bigger magazine. It’s easy to fire all your shots and miss, leaving you with only a hand-reload available.
Luckily that big boar held off from charging long enough to eat a bullet instead of that hunter! Nice shooting from the hip for a guy that missed all the other chances!
What I couldn’t figure out was the wire or line of some kind that was hanging in front of the hunter. You can start to see it at the 24-second mark as he starts to reload. Maybe he was using it as some kind of sling, but I suppose we’ll never know.
The only sure thing was the dirt nap that boar took down the hill!
