This is big news. Any adventurer is going to drool over the new California Volkswagen T6.
The California Volkswagen was originally produced in 1988 and was wildly popular. This camper van is rumored to make another appearance in the U.S. market. Right now it is only available in the U.K. with the price yet to be determined.
Check out this new adventure camper.
The new van will feature new LED headlights and a striking new exterior design.
The interior will have a comprehensive technological dashboard with incredible radio touch screens, smartphone capability, and navigation.
The living space will have a kitchenette seen in the past models featuring a 42-liter fridge and double burner stove.
An extra fold-out table and chairs are also hidden in the tailgate for outdoor use.
The California can fit seven travelers and sleep five comfortably. It will have the iconic pop-up camp bed up top and the seats below will fold down to convert into a full bedroom.
As far as the modifications go underneath the hood, the California will be up to 15% more efficient with a diesel engine. VW’s latest safety technology include Driver Alert tiredness detection system, post-collision braking, Brake Assist and adaptive cruise control.
This thing is a vehicle a good majority of us can only dream of. Not to mention, VW needs to make it available in the U.S. market.
I say we all write the VP of VW saying that they can’t call the van California unless they release it in California (and the rest of the U.S.).
