Officials from the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife and Conservation need your help to find suspects who beheaded deer.
Officials in Oklahoma are currently searching for the individuals responsible for killing two deer, beheading them, and leaving the mutilated bodies behind—and they need your help.
The deer carcasses were left in Jefferson County, approximately 4 1/2 miles east of Terral, OK. The mounts and/or antlers will likely be sold.
“We don’t call those people hunters, we call those people poachers. We posted those pictures on Facebook to let all the ethical hunters know we are looking for these people who illegally harvested deer,” said Micah Holmes from the Department of Wildlife. Please view this video, share it with your friends, and help the Department of Wildlife find the people responsible for this gruesome act.
Obviously, poaching is illegal and carries serious penalties and fines upwards of $2,500. But the acts performed by these suspects is morally inexcusable.
The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife and Conservation is offering a $500 dollar reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction. For those that do gather useful information, please call 1-800-522-8039.
