How Not to Shoot a Back Tension Release [VIDEO]

a back tension release

This time of year is a great time to experiment with your hunting setup, and this is a great example of how not to shoot a back tension release.

Most hunters choose not to mess with their hunting setup during the hunting season. But, now that we are in the off-season, it is the perfect time of year to try out new setups or new gear that you have had your eye on.

Sometimes when you try out new equipment, it ends up being exactly what you needed to make your chances of a successful hunt even better.

This video is not an example of one of those times. This is a perfect example of how not to shoot a back tension release.

In reality, this exact same event has probably happened to at least 80 percent of people who have tried a back tension release for the first time, but that doesn’t make it any less amusing to see on film.

And, in all seriousness, take this off-season and use it to test out new gear or new approaches for the coming season.
