North Carolina’s Marshmallow Crop is in Grave Danger This Year

This summer may be the first year without marshmallows for the campfires.

North Carolina’s marshmallow crop is in serious trouble, as witnessed on this video.

Watch this video and see just how bad this year’s marshmallow crop in North Carolina is going to be.

The multi-billion dollar cash crop of North Carolina just happens to be the much loved marshmallow. Growing in orchards of water-saturated soil, this “marshmallow” has become quite a favorite for roasting on camp fires worldwide.

This year’s crop is in really bad shape. Sour and undersized marshmallows just won’t cut it. The farmer in this video is about to loose his shorts, along with his farm.

Better stock up on your summer campfire hoard of marshmallows. You know that marshmallows just don’t grow on trees, right?
