New York state is now offering lifetime hunting and fishing licenses and incentives for outdoorsmen in an effort to boost outdoor tourism.
Sportsmen can now purchase lifetime hunting and fishing licenses and lifetime passes to New York State Parks. Lifetime hunting licenses cost $535, lifetime fishing $460 and lifetime state park access $750.
Lifetime license holders can also purchase a hunting and fishing-themed state license plate. They will also be eligible for an “Adventure” license, which is a New York drivers license that doubles as a hunting and fishing license.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo told the Associated Press on Wednesday that he hopes the lifetime licenses will boost the state’s outdoor tourism industry. He plan is that a portion of the state’s annual license holders will switch to the lifetime hunting and fishing licenses.
