New Nike Shoe Design Inspired by Michigan’s Fish Ladder

Inspired by the famed Fish Ladder in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the newest Nike shoe unveiled by the skate shop Premier takes from both skateboarders and anglers.

The limited edition Fish Ladder Dunk Low and Janoski Max (a more modern, lifestyle design) shoes goes on sale Saturday, and will cost $100+. They’re “our nod to the uphill battle of both worlds,” Premier co-owner Eric Blanding said.

The salmon-colored style comes with accompanying apparel, like hoodies and hats. Early response has been strong, and the store plans to sell out.
