The deal for the youth antlerless elk licenses will be available to all eligible New Mexico youths for the initial two weeks of the sale. After the first 14 days, the sale opens to all eligible hunters on July 23, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Regardless of their residency or application, those who are eligible need to have been unfortunate enough to not draw an elk license for the 2014-2015 seasons.
Youth hunters applying must have a current Junior Game Hunting or Junior Game Hunting & Fishing License and a valid Hunter Education or Youth Mentor number entered into their account in order for them to purchase a license successfully.
Any youths without a Game Hunting License can always purchase one beforehand. After the applicant’s information is verified, the licenses will be rewarded to hunters and available to print within a few days of the initial purchase.
