The New Glock 17M will be issued to the FBI.
According to The Firearm Blog, the Indianapolis Metro Police Department is one of the first to be issued the all new Glock 17M.
Glock has not released anything as of yet, and these are the first photographs we’ve seen of the new handgun.
Additionally, the gun appears to be a Gen. 4 which gives a little more credence that the Gen. 5 will be released at the SHOT 2017 show. This list of specs for the gun was leaked by an officer attending the Glock 17M/19M training.
- A new tougher finish
- Changes in the rifling

The Military Arms Channel, likewise, commented that he was able to shoot the Glock 17M which “will be the new FBI 9mm Glock that many speculate will become the Generation 5 guns.”
Hopefully we will know soon enough and these pictures will be confirmed by Glock itself, but in the meantime we can all relish at the awesome new Glock 17M and save our money for when it will be sold to the public.
