These new fly fishing strike indicator tool is looking to change the way we fish.
Some innovative fly fishing news is coming down the pipe from New Zealand. A new tool has been developed by Strike Indicator, which will soon prove to be one of the most indispensable items any fly guy should have on his vest.
The tool is retractable and made of high-end aluminum. Inside the casing is a needle that holds up to six small pieces of plastic tubing. You slip your line through the eye of the needle, and slide one of the pieces of tubing down your line, and adjust it to fit your desired color wool into the loop.
The system is pretty much flawless, as you do not need any knots, thread, or really anything besides the tool. You don’t need to worry about damaging your leader or fumbling around with wet hands and fingers trying to rig your indicator.
Judging by the video alone, it seems to work for nice trout even in what might be the clearest water I have ever gazed upon. This is going to be a must-have for any serious or avid fly fisherman. Look for this tool to start changing the clear water game in no time at all.
