Never Use Smokeless Powder in a Black Powder Gun [VIDEO]

Smokeless powder in a black powder gun has always been a big no go.

When foolish shooters do not obey this golden rule bad things happen.

This black powder revolver was destroyed by one bad decision.

When we see a fine gun destroyed by foolishness we weep.

This 1858 Remington percussion revolver is a gun that only uses black powder. A shooter decided to fill its chamber with smokeless powder and fire off a shot. This gun came apart like a pipe bomb.

This was with only one cylinder loaded. Imagine what would have happened if the revolver was fully loaded with all cylinders containing smokeless powder.

Amazingly, the shooter is said to have escaped injury. The black powder revolver was not so lucky.
