Mountain Lion Spotted in North Carolina

Carnivora

This video suggests that North Carolina may likely be the next dot on the map when it comes to mountain lions expanding their range!

Mountain lion sightings have become more common this year, most recently in Tennessee. Now Greensboro, North Carolina appears to be the location of the latest cougar sighting, according to a Fox News Channel 8 Report.

According to the report, a Greensboro man on his daily route home came face to face with what he believed to be a mountain lion. No photos were taken, but the man truly believed he had seen a big cat on his trip home.

Despite the reported sighting, state biologists reported that the species has been extinct in the state for more than 100 years. With more reported encounters with these big cats, do you think they are making a comeback?
