This may be one of the best venison burger recipes you’ll ever see.
Adding moonshine to recipes is not a new thing, but it does catch people by surprise. This moonshine BBQ-glazed venison burger recipe is something you have got to surprise them with.
Many thanks to the guys at armadillopepper.com for putting this wonderful video together. A full list of the ingredients needed is also featured below.
- 1 lb Ground Venison
- 1 lb 80/20 Ground Beef
- 1 lb Ground Pork
- Tennessee Whiskey Wild Game Seasoning, approximately 6 teaspoons for 3 pounds of meat
- 1/2 Stick Salted Butter
- 1 Shallot, Minced
- 1.5 Teaspoon Minced Garlic
- 1.5 Teaspoon Smoked Paprika
- 1.5 Teaspoon Ground Ginger
- 2-3 ounces Moonshine
- 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
Cook your bacon and set it off to the side. Then, form the burgers with the seasoning, and grill. While you cook the burgers, start the glaze. Add the butter, scallions, and green peppers. Stir well and add the rest of the glaze ingredients. Simmer that liquid gold until it starts to thicken up a bit.
There you go. Crack a few beers and enjoy!
Give it a shot next time you have people over to grill out. I don’t think they will be disappointed.
