We’ve all seen some weird trail camera photos, but I bet no one has ever expected to see a monkey in Georgia.
This is truly a trophy picture. There have been multiple sightings of a rhesus macaque monkey in Dougherty Co., Georgia, according to WALB.com.
One man was fortunate enough to get a photo of the critter while visiting a deer feeder in a 600 acre field.
“Summer of the Monkeys” anyone? I wonder if the monkey was actually eating from the feeder or just investigating.
The monkey is currently still at large. As always, the DNR encourages you to report sightings of the monkey and not approach it. Obviously, don’t try to feed it, either.
