The Missouri bowhunters survey will help predict wildlife populations.
The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) is asking bowhunters for their participation in the Bowhunter Observation Survey for the upcoming 2014 deer season.
Participants will be mailed a diary to record the number of deer, turkey and other furbearers they see while in the field. When the season is over, simply return the postage-paid survey to the Department of Conservation.

The information provided by all the participating hunters will be used by biologists to access the health of the state’s wildlife. Further, the MDC will provide a summary for the entire state and return your diary when completed.
To participate in the survey, send an email to email@example.com. Be sure to include “Bowhunter Observation Survey” in the subject line, your name and address in the text and maybe a “Thank you!”
For those who are less-technical or lack reliable Internet access, send your name and address to:

Emails or letters must be received by September 1, 2014 to allow time for the MDC to distribute the diaries to participating hunters.
The Missouri Department of Conservation understands the role hunters play in helping to maintain a healthy wildlife population and they value our participation in the study. After all, no one knows the areas we hunt better than the ourselves.
