A Minnesota woman attempts to go ice fishing at Roberd’s Lake Saturday, only to see her parent’s ice fishing trailer stolen.

Brooke Piller, from southern Minnesota has taken to social media in an effort to get back her parents’ stolen ice fishing trailer.

Piller was headed out to Roberd’s Lake on Saturday to do some ice fishing when she found her parents’ ice fishing trailer stolen.

She posted on KARE 11’s Facebook page telling of her trip to Roberd’s Lake where she discovered her parents’ 2013 Ice Castle had been towed away. Piller told reporters, “You just feel violated when someone takes it so easily. You want to prevent it from happening to the next person.”

The stolen ice fishing trailer has a V-front, is colored black and silver, and is 16 feet in length. The $10,000 trailer had a ball lock on the hitch, but the person who stole it smashed it off. Piller has asked people to keep their eyes open for the stolen ice fishing trailed, and it has been reported to the Rice County Sheriff’s Office.
