Yes, you read that right: a man in Minnesota was just arrested for shooting at a zombie. Read on to learn just what the heck happened.
Ryan Stanislaw was apparently on zombie patrol in his neighborhood, and fired at what he claimed was a zombie. However, he nearly killed one of his neighbors in the process.
A man in North St. Paul, Minnesota called the police early one morning after being awaken by the sound of a gunshot and the sound of shattering glass in his bedroom. Upon further investigation, they found where a bullet smashed through his window and embedded in the wall near his head.
The police quickly spotted Mr. Stanislaw walking around outside the house with this AR-15 rifle slung over his back. When questioned by the police, he said that he was shooting at a zombie he spotted just up the road:
I’m out here making sure my neighborhood is safe. I didn’t see the cops, so I figured I’d do something.
Stanislaw was allegedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident. He also had a magazine full of Hornady’s green-tipped Z-Max bullets, which are specifically marketed for use during the Zombie Apocalypse.
Fortunately, nobody was injured during the incident. However, this is just another good lesson that alcohol and guns don’t mix, especially when you’re planning on going out on zombie patrol later that night.
