This One Time in Florida, a Bobcat Went Shark Fishing

A photographer was in the right place at the right time and captures the moment as this bobcat goes shark fishing.

The bizarre state of Florida never lets us down, does she? Just when you think you have heard or seen it all, another wrench gets thrown into the gears, and it is time to rethink things all over again.

In Sebastian, Florida, a picture was taken of a bobcat walking up the wash of the surf carrying a meal….a sharky meal…

The photographer, John Bailey, said that he saw the bobcat head down toward the wash zone, lunging in and grabbing this little shark. When it began to carry it up the dune for a potential meal, Bailey snapped one quick photo before the bobcat dropped the wiggling shark into the sand and ran away.

There is no doubt that this is an extremely rare phenomenon that occurred on the Sebastian shoreline the other morning, but then again nothing surprises us coming out of Florida anymore. It goes to show you should always be vigilant and ready to snap a picture anytime you step into the outdoors.
