Marshawn Lynch, retired from the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks, says he doesn’t know how to go into Beast Mode.

He says it just comes out.

Well, if you’ve seen the BBC’s Planet Earth II video of an iguana running through a pit of snakes, you can be sure that critter went into Beast Mode.

Combine Lynch talking about his epic 2011 playoff Beast Quake run with the video of the iguana, and you’ve got something epic.

The narration goes along with the video perfectly.

When the narrator says, “What happened next created actual seismic activity,” you can see it in the iguana’s eyes.

Then Lynch talks about when the play was called.

“We get into the huddle and they call 17 Power and I was like, ‘Oh my god.’ I was trying to get a power for so long. With power, you’re running straight downhill. You know where we’re going to be running, and we know where you’re going to be lined up.”

And the iguana knows, too. Just look at its face.

You can just imagine the creature saying what Lynch did, “You just got to stop me. I’m say I’m better than that.”

After it’s all over, Lynch says, “At the time, I’m thinking, what the hell just happened? Did this really just happen?”

And you know that’s what the iguana was thinking. So were the snakes.
