Will a marshmallow stop a .22 LR?
Easter is here and there is one candy that is ubiquitous around this time of year. The Peep! You either love them or hate them. Some people love to leave them out and get stale for a few months and then eat them. Others love the ooeeyy-goooeeyy squishiness of a fresh Peep. Heck even saying their name is fun! PEEP, PEEP, PEEP.
But how well will a small marshmallow bird stop a .22 bullet?
In this video, Kirsten Joy Weiss asked that exact same question. Well she asked almost the same question. Let’s find out.
The Peeps with the little blindfolds cracked me up! Poor Peeps!
I was surprised, but at the same time I wasn’t, that the Peep birds were able to stop and slow down the bullet, even at that range. Marshmallows, being that malleable, slow down the bullet faster then you would think.
Either way, this is a great way to celebrate the Easter Holiday. Personally, I am going to just eat the Peeps instead of shooting them.
