22Plinkster continues with his video series “What Will A S&W 500 Go Through?”

Last time we saw 22Plinkster playing with his new toy – a Smith & Wesson 500 – he was attempting to shoot through two heavy sheets of bulletproof glass. Well, he’s at it again!

This time he’s going to find out how many cinder block webbings the 4.5 pound, world’s most powerful production model handgun can shoot through.

He’s got three concrete blocks lined up, three 1 1/4 inch webbings each for a total of nine webbings and 11 1/4 inches of solid concrete. How many do you think it will go through. Make your guess and then watch the video.

“Whooo… Let’s unleash the beast!” he says.

Are you surprised at how many it shattered? More than you thought or less?

A 325 grain slug traveling at 1,800 fps was able to shatter 3 3/4 inches of concrete. Pretty impressive. But truth be told, I was thinking it would have gone further.

I tell you, shooting a S&W 500 at stuff just to see how much damage it can do sounds like a heckuva way way to send an afternoon.
