Whether for a survival situation or just to take hunting, fishing, or camping, knowing how to make your own super easy survival bread can make your time in the outdoors cheaper and more filling. This bread can be made in just a few minutes and only requires a total of four ingredients.
What you need:
- Flour (1 cup)
- Olive Oil (2 tbsp.)
- Water (1,/2 cup)
- Salt (add to taste)
Mix these four ingredients together and knead them together to create a nice dough. Flatten the dough and pop it in the oven at 350 degrees for around 20 minutes until the top is a golden brown.
Once it’s ready, simply let it cool and then put it in an airtight bag. It’s then ready to either be eaten or stored away for future consumption.
Using these ingredients you’ll yield enough bread for a nice quality snack to keep you moving on those days in the woods. This survival bread will have around 645 calories, just over 15 grams of fat, 87 grams of carbs, and around 16 grams of protein, and it actually tastes pretty good.
Not bad for a few cents and about a half hour of baking time is it?
