Extreme Adrenaline Rush: Mahi Mahi Hunting in Panama [VIDEO]

Sport fishermen love to catch mahi mahi because it is definitely an adrenaline rush.

The species, also known as the common dolphinfish (not related to dolphins), have a healthy population, and are fun to catch.

The following mahi mahi hunt took place off the coast of Panama.

 

Mahi mahi are found in temperate to subtropical climates, waters averaging 83 degrees Fahrenheit. The fish live near the surface and can grow to about 29 pounds. It’s exciting to see the strike and watch the fish fight at the end of the line.

The fish is also quite tasty, making for a fun day on the water and a great meal later.
