ISIS ‘Mad-Max’ Suicide Truck Turned to Ash by Syrian Kurds

An explosives-laden suicide truck driven by an Islamic State suicide bomber was destroyed by Syrian Kurdish fighters.

A small truck laden with explosives on a suicide mission that resembled something out of a ‘Mad-Max’ movie was identified and destroyed by Syrian Kurdish fighters.

The video, which was provided by the France 24 English You Tube page, shows the fighters indentifying and then directing fire towards the oncoming vehicle. The Kurdish fighters unleash a barrage of small arms fire towards the unrelenting truck until one fires an anti-tank missile.

The missile can be briefly seen in the upper-left corner right at the one minute mark then the truck turns into a rolling ball of flames.

The truck appeared to be shielded in some crude way by homemade ‘armor’ that was cleary no match for what awaited it.

The video is translated in some small part into English and one of the female fighters can be heard saying “A suicide bomber tried to attack us but my comrades managed to kill him”

Although one man said that he “was thrilled” because it was him that made the kill, the video clearly states that it was a coalition provided anti-tank missile that did the job.
