LT Wright Knives Bushcrafter HC Knife Review [VIDEO]

Here’s a bushcraft knife review utilizing opinions from both experienced and inexperienced knife users.

Survival Instructor and Nature Reliance School founder, Craig Caudill, is impressed with the Bushcrafter HC knife from LT Wright Handcrafted Knives. So much so that he says he’s considering making it the official knife of the Nature Reliance School.

In his capacity as a survival and bushcraft instructor, Caudill also placed the knife in the hands of several hundred students in the Nature Reliance School. He reports that almost every student loved the knife and how it performed.

Caudill himself used the knife in a wide variety of situations and says that the knife is a real workhorse.

Some of the specs on the knife include:

  • 1075 high carbon steel
  • 8.25″ in length
  • 3 5/8″ cutting edge
  • Convex grind
  • Comes with a 2 step patina
  • Alloy lanyard hole
  • Fisheye hardware
  • Marine grade epoxy

There is also an option, for an additional cost, to get either a leather or kydex sheath with the knife.

The Bushcrafter HC will run you an easy $75. The leather sheath option is an additional $25.

“For a benjamin, you got yourself a fantastic knife that’s literally going to last you a lifetime,” says Caudill. “I just absolutely don’t think you can beat it.”
