Skeletal remains of the Loch Ness monster have been found washed up on shore near the famous lake, or have they?
Either the mystery is finally solved, and scientists have the body remains of the ultra-famous Loch Ness monster, or someone just hatched one of the best elaborate hoaxes since the man-in-the-moon.
Someone walking their dog along the shore of the famous lake recently made the discovery which was summarily posted to Facebook by user Help 2Rehome Scotland. The pictures immediately caused a stir and more than one wry smile.
While a scene of police tape blocked the area, spectators were instantly skeptical of the skeleton which featured a skull replete with teeth, ribs, somewhat of a tail, and of course most of its guts intact.
While it’s possible that the real ‘Nessie’ was nuked (possibly by aliens) one commenter, Catherine McGovern McCracken, probably had it right on the nose when she said: “Clearly some butcher needed more room in his bins lol”
The innards of the beast certainly looked like a cross between sausage and a washed out garden hose, but it looked to have been done quite right. Eventually it came to light that the detailed ‘remains’ were part of a soon to be television show.
With a lifetime for some of pursuing the legendary animal anything close to a sighting can be paramount. It’s said that the chase for Nessie brings some 30 million pounds or almost $40 million to the area.
With one last gasp Help 2Rehome Scotland posted, “It’s for a TV show, good lay out!” Well one thing must be true then: Nessie is alive and well and flourishing in the Loch.
What do you believe?
