Little Piece of History: Shooting the WWII M1 Carbine [VIDEO]

The little M1 carbine has served our country and others well back to the dark days of World War Two.

This iconic, quick-shooting carbine is well-suited for quick, close range shooting.

This M1 carbine has been around for many decades. It continues to work well to this day.

The M1 carbine is chambered in .30 carbine cartridge and is fed by a detachable 15-round, or a larger 30-round, magazine. The quick-shooting M1 carbine served many soldiers in many wars since the 1940s and continues to do duty in some countries.

It also makes a great little close-quarters carbine for quick shooting for the homestead or for home defense.

Hickok45 shoots a Saginaw model that dates way back to World War Two. It still shoots great and is quite a piece of military history.
