It is not often you see a lion being chased by its prey during a hunt.
Lions are often looked at as the lords of Africa. They chase down and eat numerous animals twice their size when hunting in packs. Sometimes when they hunt solo things don’t go quite according to plan.
This lone lioness decides to go after a wildebeest at a migration crossing in Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. While at first nothing seems to be out of the ordinary on the hunt, things suddenly take a hilarious turn of events.
I really want to know what happened after they went up that hill and out of sight. It took me a moment to realize that the lion wasn’t the one chasing something any longer.
We will probably never find out exactly what happened, but I know that has to be the luckiest wildebeest to have ever been chased down by a lion and lived to tell the tale.
