Knots to Know: The Uni Knot Should Be Set to Memory for All Anglers

Here's the tried and true uni knot, a classic angler's knot used to attached most fluorocarbon lines to a hook, lure, or swivel.

The uni knot has been tested, and stacks up with the top knots in terms of strength combined with ease of tying. The traditional method uses up to seven wraps of the tag end around its own loop and the other line, but we've found three to be the minimum if you're in a hurry and they're biting fast and furious.

Make sure you've got the uni in your repertoire, and leave us a comment on Facebook with the type of knot you use.
