Kevin VanDam Pounds Busch Beer on the Podium in Ultimate Champion Move

Kevin VanDam is back on the winning track.

It’s been a few years since we’ve seen Kevin VanDam dominate the bass fishing scene. As a matter of fact, it’s been since he won the 2011 Bassmaster Classic that he has hoisted any trophy at all. When it comes to professional bass fishing though, winning isn’t everything as long as you continue to place high and in the money. When it comes to KVD, he has always done just that.

Just this past weekend VanDam won number two on the year at the Busch Beer Bassmaster Elite at Cayuga Lake. If you are like me, it sure is great watching our Michael Jordan of bass fishing pound one down after another one of his many Elite Series wins.

Kind of reminds you of Stone Cold Steve Austin from back in the day doesn’t it? Yeah…not really me either. However, seeing KVD back on top just makes everything feel right in the world.

When VanDam in on his game, there isn’t a bass fisherman in the world that can beat him. This just goes to show that with all the young guns blazing trails on the BASS circuit, he is still the man to beat.
