Kayak Anglers Freak Out When Shots Fire Off A Little Too Close

These kayak anglers take off faster than the bullets.

If you have spent a lot of time in the outdoors, then chances are you have probably also been frightened by gunshots ringing out nearby that you weren’t expecting. When we hunt, we do what we can to make others are aware of our presence, but it’s easy to catch people off guard. Just imagine how these kayak anglers felt when it happened on the water.

In this video from noobangler, you will see exactly what we mean.

I remember one beautiful day I was muskie fishing alone on Lake Webster, Indiana. Somehow, on that fateful day I forgot it was the opening day of goose season. As as I was out casting along right at sun up, I watched a flock geese approach about to fly over top of me.

Then, I almost wet myself and jumped in the bottom of my boat as a group of hunters in a blind on shore started firing at them about twenty yards from where I was.

Holy cow did they laugh at me. Of course, I laughed at myself also.
