Jim is the founder and CEO of Shockey Enterprises, an outdoor television production and multi-media company. Shockey Enterprises has partnered with Snow Phipps Group, LLC, a New York-based private equity firm, to acquire FeraDyne.
“This opportunity is, for me, a dream come true,” Shockey said in the release. “It’s a culmination of my 30-year career in the hunting business, to finally have a substantial ownership and management position in a category-leading manufacturer of hunting products. I am excited to help to lead this company with integrity, loyalty and honesty. Great products at a great value will be my goal. Like millions of my fellow bowhunters, I have come to trust the FeraDyne products no matter where in the world or what in the world I am bowhunting.”
Among Shockey’s television productions are “Jim Shockey’s Uncharted,” “Jim Shockey’s Hunting Adventures,” and “Live2Hunt” on the Outdoor Channel.
Jim Shockey will assume role as board member and non-executive director of the company while partnering with his friend and fellow hunter Ogden Phipps.
