Frozen Jeans Stand up on Their Own Because It’s Really Cold in Minnesota

It’s so cold in Minnesota that people are putting wet blue jeans in their yards and they freeze standing up.

Tom Grotting is a Minneapolis resident that started sculpting pants back in 2013. The trend of frozen blue jeans caught on around town and now everyone’s doing it.

Basically, you soak your jeans in water and then stand them up. It’s so cold in Minnesota that they freeze pretty quickly.

Check out some frozen jeans just chillin’ in Minneapolis.

Who are they waiting for?

Tom originally started freezing pants in order to entertain his neighbor, who doesn’t like the winter very much.

He hoped that when she saw the frozen jeans they would bring a smile to her face.

If you live anywhere near Minneapolis, look out for frozen jeans walking around town.
