Did You Know the Winchester 1892 Has a Clone? See It Here

When is a Winchester 1892 rifle not actually a Winchester?

That is when it is a Spanish made clone.

Ian from Forgotten Weapons checks out the Garate Anitua y Cia El Tigre Winchester 1892 clone.

The Winchester 1892 lever action rifle is one of the most iconic rifles of the old West. When is a Winchester really not a Winchester?

Well when the Winchester patent did not cover the country of Spain a copy of the great Winchester model 1892 was made. Lower in price than the real Winchester rifle these copy cat rifles were quite popular even as movie props for the old West movies of yesterday.

Ian from Forgotten Weapons shows us quite a great clone of the Winchester 1892 rifle made by Garate Anitua y Cia and named the “El Tigre”.
