Iowa to Offer Apprentice Hunter Program for Newbies and Novices

Don’t have a hunters education course, but want to try hunting in Iowa? Now you can.

Iowa is now offering up an apprentice hunter program for those people who want to go out with a licensed hunter and see if it’s for them.

This program will be geared towards small game hunting, and to those individuals or have never had the chance to hunt or haven’t been able to complete a hunter education course.

For residents the cost will be $30, and it will be offered to non residents for a fee of $123.

This is a great program to help get individuals out in the woods and introduce hunting to new folks, or otherwise would never go out.
