True storytellers are few and far between, which is why we’re thrilled to introduce you to the brotherly duo that creates a wide variety of cinematic hunting and fishing video adventures under the monicker Montana Wild – Zack and Travis Boughton.
In the fall of 2011, Zack and Travis, two brothers who live in Missoula, MT, had the idea to begin documenting their treks into the great outdoors and all the beauty that resides within it. Their mission is simple: “Our goal is to inspire you to set foot in God’s country, forget everything, and immerse yourselves in places you’ve never been. We also hope to make you laugh every once in a while.”
Their video below is one of our favorites here at Wide Open Spaces. This short film follows Zack and Travis from the dry Breaks country to the dark timber of Northwest Montana, where they search for the always elusive elk. Watch as two young, talented men fill their elk tags during Montana’s archery season in 2012.
