How do you bounce back from a nearly two-month offensive and rebounding slump? Go bass fishing.

That’s how Indiana Pacers’ center Roy Hibbert said he was able to break his 15-point plateau last night against the Washington Wizards, according to Bleacher Report.

After the game, Hibbert credited his success to a recent bass fishing trip with teammates Paul George and George Hill.

“Yesterday after practice, he (George) invited me out on his boat and we fished for about two hours, and just relaxed and didn’t talk about basketball. We just talked about life and trying to catch some bass.”

Paul George seems to be one of the most active fishermen in the NBA. He’s posted a number of pictures of him and his teammates bass fishing.

The Pacers aren’t the only NBA players that enjoy the great outdoors. Earlier this week, we shared a photo of NBA Hall of Famer Karl Malone posing with a bear he hunted with bow.
