Check out this incredible footage of well-known archery hunter Dennis Dunn making an eight-yard shot on a Pope & Young world record grizzly bear in Alaska.

This footage of Dennis Dunn nailing an eight-yard shot on what would later turn out to be the Pope & Young world record grizzly bear is pretty intense.

Bowhunting large and dangerous predators at close range takes some guts and things can quickly go wrong if you make a mistake or are unlucky.

Watch just how close this massive grizzly bear gets before he takes the shot!

Is that a big bear or what? Wildlife biologists from the state of Alaska aged this bear at 28-years-old, which is incredibly old for a wild grizzly bear.

This hunt took place in 2004 near Unalakleet, Alaska and this was the certified #1 Pope & Young world record grizzly bear until Rodney Debias took his bear in the same area in 2009.
